WALTER NEUGEBAUER & THE CADILLAC World class rock band which on 21 December 2009 celebrated 30 years of successful performances throughout Croatia and Europe. During a two-hour performance we play domestic and world known hits, evergreens like Rock and roll je život moj, Dok razmišljam o nama, Mramor, kamen i željezo, Platno, boje, kist i twist, as well as Blue suede shoes, House of the rising sun, Diana, Unchain my heart and many others. Walter Neugebauer & The Cadillac, with many guests, gave a brilliant concert/party in Tvornica Kulture, by which they celebrated this important anniversary in their career. Walter Neugebauer was also a lead performer of the cultural-artistic program in Rock beer-hall at the Rujanfest 2010 in Zagreb, which lasted from 16 to 26 September 2010 at Bundek, with abundance of domestic and world famous hits performed by most eminent Croatian musicians playing urban music. Members of the band The Cadillac are legends of the Croatian rock’n’roll: WALTER NEUGEBAUER, also known as Rockin’ Neno (band leader, vocals and piano), Croatian rock’n’roll scene’s bard, is one of the pioneers of the Zagreb and Croatian scene in 1960s. He founded the band Kristali, and Mladi, with which he performed in the legendary Hambourg STAR CLUB, where Beatles started their world career. During the 1970s he played with the band Pink Elephant on the American military bases in Germany (during the war in Vietnam), and played as guests at the concerts of world famous stars Roy Orbison and Everly Brohters. In 1972 Jugoton released Pink Elephant’s album titled How do you do. On New Year’s eve 1980, the band The Cadillac starts its engine for the first time and leaves for the great rock’n’roll campaign, over 1000 concerts throughout Germany, Austria, Switzerland, ex Yugoslavia and then Croatia. ŽELJKO the DOG KOVAČEVIĆ (lead guitar and vocals) is a legendary guitar player form the 1960s, who was a mentor of such connoisseurs like Vedran Božić. Since the band Mladi, Delfini, Zlatni akordi, he was a member of The Cadillac in several periods. In 1990s he leaves for USA, and then to Canada. When he returned to Croatia, he started performing live again, and also made his name as a studio musician. He became a member of The Cadillac again in 2006 and plays with them to this day.
